FAQs
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MINK AND SYNTHETIC LASHES?
The key differences between synthetic lashes and mink lashes are primarily the quality of material and how they are made. B. Glam Mink Lashes are made from 100% cruelty free Mink hair. They are handmade, super lightweight and comfortable on the eyes. Best of all with proper care B. Glam Mink Lashes can be worn 20-25 times.
The disposable lashes that you find in drugstores are likely made with synthetic fibers which are often thicker and heavier, generally making them less comfortable - especially for those not accustomed to using false eyelashes. Disposable lashes also tend to be less soft and have limited flexibility which makes them appear more unnatural. While lower in price, disposable lashes can only be worn a few times before they need to be replaced.
ARE YOUR LASHES CRUELTY FREE?
Yes, no animals are harmed or killed in the production of our lashes.
HOW DO I REMOVE THE LASHES FROM THE PACKAGING?
The best way is to use tweezers, holding the lashes at their base, and then slowly and gently pull at the corner ends. Please do not pull the lashes from the middle.
HOW DO I APPLY FALSE LASHES?
Measure your eyes and if needed, trim your lashes. Always trim lashes starting from the outer corners.
You may choose to curl your natural lashes first if you want, especially if you have thicker or straight natural lashes. You may choose to add mascara to your natural lashes if you want, but it’s not necessary. Spread a thin layer, of the lash glue of your choice, to the entire base of the lashes and let it set for about 20 seconds. You want the glue to become tacky. If the glue is too wet, the lashes will slide right off and you will have difficulty setting the lashes. Using your fingers, tweezers, or our dedicated lash application tool, hold the lashes in the center and line it up with the center of your eyes and adhere to your lash line. Then manipulate the inner and outer corners and apply them above your lash line as well.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY LASHES?
Please follow these steps for proper care and reusing:
(1) Remove lashes by securely holding its base and, beginning at the outer corner, slowly and gently pull the lash towards the direction of your tear duct.
(2) After removing the false lashes from your eyes, be sure to remove any excess glue using your fingertips or a pair of tweezers.
(3) Place them back in their tray to maintain their natural shape and to ensure longevity.
(4) Avoid applying mascara directly on the mink lashes to ensure longevity. Trust me with these beautiful lashes you won't need it.
